The Young Writers' Club (Jr.) program strives to bring young writers together once a week to spend time honing their writing skills. The program, being an online session, includes a group interaction component in which we sometimes talk about something of interest from the news. When it is hard to find news that is interesting, we dabble with either a visual thinking activity or pretend to be editors editing a given text. That's a great way to see writing from a reader's perspective and revisit one's own writing approaches.

The group interaction if followed by writing. Children are given a variety of writing applications, inclusive of creative writing, are provided for writing practice. Detailed feedback is given to enable them to move to the next level.

We also have a more hard core writing program for teens, The Young Writers' Club.
